Pastels, as predicted, were a huge trend at this year’s Academy Awards.

Plunging necklines are tricky, by definition they walk the line between sexy and vulgar. These four starlets pulled it off.

It’s no surprise that the ever-present black gown was high in numbers on tonight’s red carpet. My very favorite was Olivia Wilde’s Valentino gown.

Winner: Olivia Wilde in Valentino – even while pregnant, Olivia stuns in this two tone Valentino gown.
There are very few frills on these frocks, but they are all beauties.

Beads, florets, sequins, fringe, all of the above can be found on possibly my favorite category of Oscar dresses. I though Naomi Watts looked killer in this white Calvin Klein gown.
